There will be approximately 200 guests with buffet tables on both ends of the Apse. Guests will arrive about 6:00 p.m. and begin dining at 6:30 p.m. The area in the center, on the side by elevator 1 will be the stage area. Four speakers will be placed on the south side of the Apse, two on each end. The will use our podium. There is no visual portion of their speeches. THEY WILL NEED THE MONITOR FROM THE COMMONS TO SHOW PHOTOGRAPHS. A mariachi band will play during dinner, while guests are eating from 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Speeches will be from 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. There will be a band with choreograph dancers at 8:30 p.m. and the DJ will follow. I do not know where they will enter, I had asked that they unload at the dock for their ease, just help them. The DJ (Jamyle) will be coming around 4:00 p.m. to be set up by 5:00 p.m. He will plug part his sound equipment into our our system for the night. Jamyle is aware of our sound limit, he is from Ross Business. I would recommend that a left and right side speaker are placed on each side of the stage area and then the two furtherest speakers (one closest to the curve and one closest to front entrance) are unplugged for the dance portion of the night. We will want to turn down the the lights in the center portion of the Apse for the dance time. Please point two lights down on the buffet tables in the curved end of the Apse for the dinning time. They should be turned off when dancing starts Please call Bruce if you have any questions. Please put the LaCasa Latinx Unity Ball signs the steps to the Apse and outside on the stairs to the main entrance.
