We would like to use the classroom for our teacher workshop. We will need access to setup by 8:30 a.m., registration will start in front of the classroom at 8:45 a.m. and we will need one table at the doors for paperwork sign-in. The first speaker will go on at 9:00 a.m. From 9:45-11 a.m we will be in the gallery and need one guard to supervise. From 11-11:30 a.m. we will do lunch in the common. Setup drawing attached. We will need three rectangle tables for food/bev setup. We will need a sign that says private event so no one comes back there while we are there. Once catering leaves we can tear everything down and open the commons up again. We will go to the print study room from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and then take a break. We will meet back in the classroom and then head back up to Taubman I from 12:45-1:45 p.m We will go back to the classroom afterward for evaluations and then leave about 2 or 2:15 p.m.
***During the afternoon visit to Taubman I, two groups will use sharpies on transparencies, 10 per group. Pam and Mary will oversee. We will need stanchions by the area with the monitor to make sure markers are kept away from paintings. We will start at the 5th electric plug south of the first painting on the west wall and run a stanchion diagonally toward the corner of the wall the monitor is on. One set of stanchions should be all that is needed, as the area is still open to all guests. Education will have stools for the teachers to sit on while they are working there.
